The first truly fireproof search/tag line, HT2 maintains
strength and flexibility under steady exposure to temperatures to 1,250°F
with a melting point of 2,080°F!!
Featuring an
outer braid of a specially blended aramid fiber, HT2 performs like any other
rope up to 650°F. At temperatures exceeding 650°F, the outer braid becomes
sacrificial and will char, eventually losing any strength YET
the HOT•STOP® inner core
maintains strength, flexibility & durability at steady exposure to
temperatures up to 1,250°F!!
Will NOT burn or support combustion
High degree of tensile strength (625 pounds breaking
strength)
Excellent cut, abrasion & chemical resistance
Non-slip outer braid offers good grip properties
