Featuring a multi-layer HOT•STOP® laminate, these bags reflect 95% of radiant heat up to 2000°F thereby providing unmatched protection for HT2 High Temp Search Rope as well as standard search/life safety rope. With a 2080°F melting point, these bags can withstand long term elevated radiant heat exposure along with direct flame contact making them suitable for RIT/FAST operations.

  • Velcro closure top flap, oversized to allow rope deployment
  • Sewn belt loop allows bag to fit on SCBA/escape/utility belt
  • Large grommet in rear allows rope to be attached directly to SCBA
    (rope stays attached to FF even if bag is torn off)
  • Hems bound with HOT•STOP® woven tape for added durability & fireproof protection
  • Available in 2 sizes to meet your individual needs

  • Similar to other large area search bags currently in use within the fire service
  • Holds 200' of 3/8" or 250' of 1/4" HT2
    High Temp Search Rope
  • Double flap top with Velcro closure
  • Two oversized grommets allow smooth playout
  • Fireproof shoulder strap features nylon webbing over a core of woven HOT•STOP® tape
  • Measures 6"L x 6"W x 10"H
  • Offered in 100' or 400' sizes, custom bags with up to 3 accessory pockets available

Large Area Search/RIT Bag

Well suited for large area search & RIT operations
  • Holds 200' of HT2 High Temp Search Rope, up to 250' with HT2 rope reel
  • Top flap offers oversized reinforced opening for smooth playout of directional knots
  • 5/8" grommet in bottom allows additional HT2 rope to be attached
  • Two side accessory pockets hold 25' of HT2 search rope plus carabiners, webbing, etc.
  • Fireproof shoulder strap features nylon webbing over a core of woven HOT•STOP® tape
  • Measures 10"D x 12"H
